2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site may use cookies, analytics scripts, pixels, local storage technologies, application programming interfaces, and similar technologies. We use these technologies to:
  • Operate and secure the Site
  • Prevent fraud, spam and abuse
  • Understand how visitors use the Site
  • Measure website traffic and performance
  • Diagnose technical problems
  • Display embedded content and social-media feeds
  • Remember visitor privacy preferences
Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics, functional or marketing technologies are disabled until you provide the appropriate consent. You may use the Site’s Cookie Settings or Privacy Choices control to accept, reject or modify your preferences. Blocking certain technologies may affect Site functionality.

3. Website Services and Third-Party Technologies

The Site currently uses or may use the following categories of services. This list should be updated whenever the Site’s technology changes.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand Site traffic and performance. Depending on configuration and your privacy choices, Google Analytics may process information such as browser and device information, page URLs, referring information, approximate location, language, client or session identifiers, and interactions with the Site. Google Analytics should be classified as an analytics technology and activated only in accordance with the Site’s consent configuration.

Ahrefs Web Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure aggregated Site traffic and usage trends. Ahrefs states that its standard Web Analytics service does not use cookies or persistent identifiers, does not track individuals across websites, devices or applications, and discards raw IP addresses after using them to determine approximate city- and country-level location. Information processed may include page URL, referring URL, user-agent information, browser and device type, language, approximate location and Site interactions.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA to help protect forms and the Site against spam, fraud and automated abuse. Google may process technical, device, browser, network and interaction information for security purposes. Where technically feasible, reCAPTCHA should be limited to pages and forms that require its security functionality, rather than being loaded throughout the entire Site.

SociableKIT

The Site uses SociableKIT to display social-media or other embedded content. SociableKIT may process widget-view, device, browser, network, and interaction information needed to deliver and measure the embedded content.

AccentAPI

The Site uses AccentAPI to deliver third-party content or data feed. Requests to the feed may include standard technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, referring page, and timing data.

CookieYes Consent Management

We use CookieYes to display and manage the Site’s privacy and cookie preferences. CookieYes may process information such as an anonymized IP address, country, consent selection, consent identifier, and the date and time of the selection to record and honor your privacy preferences. CookieYes also stores a strictly necessary preference cookie so that the Site can remember your choices. This cookie is required for the operation of the Site’s consent-management functions and cannot be disabled through the Cookie Settings panel. You may accept, reject, change, or withdraw your choices at any time through the Cookie Settings or Privacy Choices link displayed on the Site.

Other Providers

We may also use website hosting, content delivery, security, email, form processing, maintenance, and professional service providers. These providers may process information only as needed to perform services for us and subject to applicable contractual restrictions.
